Not at all! Our 5-week beginner watercolour course starts with the basics and gradually builds your confidence and skills.

Over five weeks you'll learn essential watercolour techniques including:
Understanding brushes and materials
Colour mixing
Washes and layering
Light and shadow
Composition
Creating your own finished paintings

Our advanced workshops are perfect for those with some watercolour experience who would like to explore more specialised techniques, subjects, and artistic styles in a relaxed full-day environment.

Each class listing will specify whether materials are included or if you'll need to bring your own supplies. Many beginner classes include the essential materials so you can simply turn up and enjoy painting.

Just yourself and your enthusiasm! If any additional materials are required, we will let you know before the class begins.

As each week builds on the previous lesson, we recommend attending all sessions where possible. Unfortunately, we cannot offer makeup classes for missed sessions.

We keep our classes small 8-10 so everyone receives individual guidance and has plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

Our painting courses are designed primarily for adults and older teenagers (approximately 16+). If you're looking for children's art classes, please see our Kids Creative Hub.

Yes! You'll create your own paintings throughout the course and take home finished pieces to enjoy.

Yes. Free 2hr parking is available nearby, making it easy to attend your classes.
