Ready to take your pottery further? This 5 week class is designed for students who have completed the 5 week Beginner Pottery course and are ready to explore their own ideas, experiment with new techniques and push the boundaries of what they can create.
Bring your ideas to the table and receive individual support from your tutor as you work through each piece, while also learning from the ideas, techniques and challenges of everyone around you. With 5kg of clay to use as you choose, you can make one or two large statement pieces (limit of 450mm wide or high), lots of smaller pieces, or anything in between.
Create Christmas presents, functional ware, decorative pieces or simply experiment and see where your creativity takes you. You will have access to the studio tools and equipment, with a choice of white or toast clay, and can recycle any unused clay yourself. Your clay, glazes and kiln firings are all included, with a dedicated glazing day around week 7 where you can choose from a range of colour combinations to finish your creations.
Or take your time to decorate and paint at a later date when bisque fired during our drop in times.
