Join our Monday School Holiday Sewing Class with Julie and learn the basics of sewing while making your own accessories.
This fun beginner class is perfect for ages 7 - 17. No experience needed! In one afternnon, you will learn machine skills and go home with 3 handmade scrunchies to wear, swap, or gift.
What You Will Make:
3 Fabric Hair Scrunchies – Choose your own fabrics and make a mix of standard and oversized scrunchies. Perfect for matching outfits or giving to friends!
Skills You Will Learn:
Safe use of a sewing machine
Accurate cutting and fabric preparation
Straight stitching, pivoting, and neat seam finishes
Turning fabric tubes and pressing for a tidy finish
Threading elastic for the perfect scrunch
Finishing techniques for a professional look
What Is Included:
All materials included. Fabric, elastic, and thread supplied.
Sewing machine provided.
Just bring a packed snack and drink for a 15min break + fresh air halfway through.
Supervision: All children are supervised. Students can be dropped off for class and collected after class.
