Join us for a fun and creative Mum & Child school holiday workshop!
In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn to sew together from the very beginning. Side-by-side, you and your child will create your very own drawstring bag while building confidence and essential sewing skills as a team.
Guided step-by-step by tutor Julie, you will both learn how to measure, cut fabric, sew seams, create casings, thread drawstrings, press neatly, and finish your project to a professional standard. This class is all about starting your sewing journey together - supporting each other, problem-solving together, and celebrating your finished bag at the end.
By the end of the session, you will take home a handmade drawstring bag you made together - perfect for sports gear, library books, shoes, or as a gift.
It is the perfect school holiday project to bond, get creative, and discover the joy of sewing as a team.
